The idea came to us on a family trip we took to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. Our kids headed straight for the gift shop on arrival, and couldn’t stop playing with a toy Space Shuttle and rocket ship as we explored the museum. We thought, wouldn’t it be cool to create an animated series about spaceships flying to different planets in our Solar System? We spent a year working on the story, and then another six months on the designs and visual imagery of the Space Race world. We hope you enjoy it, and that it also can be a vehicle for kids to learn more about Space, math and science.
